Vanitory Units
Vanitory units are built around a skeleton frame, allowing for access to plumbing and other services. Apertures for sinks and other ancillary items can be cut on site in the correct location during installation. However, in order to ensure integrity of the construction it is advisable to inform HILLS of this detail during the quotation and ordering process, so the frame can be adapted to suit if necessary. Generally vanitory units are specified in two standard heights. For adult situations, 850mm is standard height, reducing to 600mm for junior requirements. Any height in between these can be accommodated, subject to sanitary ware requirements. There are four basic vanitory unit styles to match the different ranges of cubicles: Square edged; Aluminium edged; Postformed; Solid laminate.
Pelmets
Pelmets are available for use in vanitory unit situations for concealing lighting. Generally pelmets are specified to standard dimensions of 150mm x 150mm, and installation usually undertaken with angle brackets or proprietary fixing systems. There are four basic styles of pelmets: Square edged; Aluminium edged; Postformed; Solid laminate.
